MEET THE LAS VEGAS PIPER

Graham Gunnion is the man behind the ‘Las Vegas Piper’ name.  With a long history of study and performance, Graham has:

  • Tutored at the famous Piping School in Edinburgh Castle whilst serving in the British Army.
  • Played for H.M. Queen Elizabeth II in Belfast, with the Ulster Defence Regiment massed pipe band to celebrate the presentation of Colours to the Regiment.
  • As a keen solo competition player, won, amongst other things, the Sir Winston Churchill Trophy.
  • Played at the 2004 World Championships in Scotland with Misty Isle Pipe Band from Torrance, CA, where the band placed 4th in the world at grade 4.

This year, Graham will be competing at solo and band level with Las Vegas' own Desert Skye Pipes and Drums.
